I like #2 but it seems a little out of focus. Looks like the light was poor, what camera/lens and settings did you use?

30d with a 70-200 is.
shutter speed 1/400 iso 1600 f 2.8
I need to practice more I guess. My focus is right on once out of ten!

I used to use the 30d but went to the 1d MK III to get better shots in low light. I had the same problem with the 30d as you and still have some issues with the MK III but that is most likely my fault, not the camera. I also usally use the 85mm 1.8 for basketball but I also can go anywhere on the court, not sure what your limitations are. Do you have any more photos to share? I would love to see more of your work.
