Well today I was outside taking pictures of flowers and noticed a pretty flower that was kinda hot pink. It's a beautiful sunny day here and all my pictures came out fine except the pink colored flower. The flower itself just always came out underexposed or overexposed no matter what I did in manual mode. Any ideas on how to fix this problem next time? I would upload the picture but when looking at them on my pc I put the CF card into my camera and formatted it.. forgetting to save them to my pc.. >< good bye 2 hours of work! lmao

IT seems that you just solved your problem!!
Try using "P" mode...........instead of Manual.

I'll pretend you didn't say that >< Auto modes are sins.

Do you mean that each time you took the same (angle & crop) shot with only shutter speed & f-stop changes you couldn’t zero in? Or were you taking different shots, with different meter readings, & trying to zero in?

pink ~ red is a very sensitive color, very easy to overexpose.
Your best solution: shoot RAW !
