You've nailed the focus. I particularly like the part of the flower on the left, in profile.

i like it all . . from the flower to the BG . . i agree with sue . . .something awesome about the flower to the left!

thanks everyone for your kind comments, this plant is very good at attracting humming birds, i will have to try and get some of those shots next summer.

This is a very nice capture indeed, you asked for C&C so here it goes:

What I liked:
excellent exposure
great color
accurate focus
you picked a great subject ;)

What I feel could be better:
framing: the yellow flowers got chopped a bit ... you might want to consider to experiment with the rule of thirds or just offer some more play between subject and background.

post processing:
i think you over sharpened the picture a bit (there is a bit of noise artifacts here and there).
