One of North America's most admired birds, the Osprey is the continent's only raptor that almost exclusively eats live fish. This bird boasts a six foot wingspan. It is also known colloquially as seahawk, fish hawk and fish eagle.

Nice capture of what looks like an adult female Tom, I cant wait for spring and nesting season to begin again, all of the Osprey have left us.:(

Hi Trevor...yes, these are impressive birds, especially in flight. I've only spotted this one here at the wetlands. I hoping she has a mate and stays close-by for breeding season...tom

Cool shot. I really like the ospreys.
