I am only kidding about asking where to spend it  I already ordered a 20D from my local photo store (Simjo Photo). The first and second SS payments are spent. My present to myself for makeing it this long without getting killed :) I was almost at the point of going back to N&**N to get instant on and wakeup, Ive missed so many shots becasue of having to wait on my 10d to wake up :? I know the sayings :D A fool and his money soon part and there is no fool like a old fool  But I'm going to my grave poor!!!!!!!! and maybe in debt  hummmm maybe I shodda ordered a Mark II? Naw I'm too weak to carry it.... any way just wanted to brag to someone. Thanks for putting up with me :)

I don't know where you should spend it, but cash it as soon as you can. I won't be paying into the system forever, you know...

Jerry,

Enjoy your new camera (when it comes) and your retirement. I won't preorder the 20D because the wait would kill me. I will wait for it to be available in stores. That way when I make the decision to get it, I'll know I am getting it right away. Also my wife won't let me get it this soon after investing so much money on my DRebel and lenses.

Jerry, bring both bodies with ya when you come up here in the Spring. Bears are partial to photographers with Canon bodies

I hunted Bear here in Va for 20 years, the closest I got was I almost ran over one with my truck in the middle of the road on the Sunday night before the season opened :? I did take a 35mm pic with a P & S of a Bear on the next ridge. Came out great! Looked like the period at the end of this sentence  I wouldn't mind being close if I have my 12 gauge with me.. but canon bodies just won't cut it!!
