Great shots. (I took a video of the eagles being chased by the smaller birds. But the clarity is missing. ) I guess I have to upgrade my gear.

Thanks for the positive responses. My foray into bird photography has been a humbling experience. I have these two beautiful red tailed hawks and a pileated wp that are always around my house but hawks seem to be some of the more skittish raptors. Can never seem to get "that" shot. Not as cooperative as my kids running around the soccer field.;)

Nice shots, looks like you were able to get relatively close. I have the same problem in my backyard - my pileated woodpeckers are very skittish and I've only gotten one decent shot in a couple of years of trying. However, I moved the feeders recently and I think that's going to be more conducive to photographing them. Also I've only gotten one shoot of my backyard Cooper's hawk!

I've visited the USA several times and never seen these amazing birds in real life. They must be awesome to watch.
