Nice, glad to see I'm not the only geek about :D

www.tshirthell.com is still my favorite place for shirts.. good thing I can't wear them at work, or I'd go broke and have no money for photo gear!

One of the professor's used to have a sticker on his door. The sticker said "Go away before I replace you with a very small shell script." I thought it was hilarious.

Gotta love think geek, especially since I am a programmer by trade.

I'd like to know how many people opened this and said "Huh? one-dot-zero-dot-zero-dot-one? Whatever..."

Tee hee

127.0.0.1 is an internal IP.

It's used to test the system you are on. For example, if you arnt sure if your network card is working you could ping that computer, from that computer by typing "ping 127.0.0.1". It's like an internal loop.

In otherwords, it's "home"

"There is no place like 127.0.0.1, or, no place like home"

This is a classic:

There are 10 type of people who understand binary, those that do, and those that dont.

Or run to your nearest *nix machine and type "If I had a ) for every dollar the government wasted. How many ) would I have?" (less the quotes of course).
