I use a Canon D60 and I use PS6 . . . In the past, I have used Canons Software to download and convert Raw images. Recently, I have been using Downloader Pro to download files shot in JPEG. Downloader Pro is great and very fast.

My question is: I just shot a lot of photos in Raw mode and downloaded to my computer with Downloader Pro. I can't work with any of the files. I thought that there would be a JPEG file with each image. There is a raw file, a data file, and a file that has a Photoshop Icon, but when I go to open it up, it won't open. Photoshop says that it doesn't recognize the file extension. . . What's up?

Must I go back and download through Canon software? Does Photoshop CS have a raw converter? Any suggestions? :?:

On a D60, either you get a RAW file or you get a JPEG. There is no BOTH. Photoshop 6 may not know how to deal with a RAW file. The Canon utility will convert RAW to TIF, however.

Does Photoshop CS have a raw converter?

Yes, it's built into CS. Have you seen this?
