My first attempt at HDR Black and White. C & C please, and any PP advice would be greatly appreciated.
This is Zahara, Spain... Taken yesterday just before sunset.

Seems a little flat.
I do like the composition and the way you got the reflection, but this needs more contrast.

Yeah, I am very new to the black and white thing (as well as to HDR's), and I feel like I am having issues getting my pictures to look pleasing to the eye. I tried bumping up the contrast, but then I lose the shadow detail.
Any suggestions on how to improve the contrast without losing the details? I have Lightroom and CS3.

I like what you have done to it, care to share any secrets as to how?

This might help. (http://photo.net/equipment/digital/editing/bwconvert/)
It certainly helped me understand the difference between the "right" way and the way I was doing it...
