Well it's raining again, haven't been out in days. So it was off to my private hide (the garden shed) to photograph some exotic birds ( well actually a House Sparrow and a Goldfinch)

Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and shoot at home, nice photos for a rainy day, I have yet to photograph a house sparrow.

Nice closeups Dai. Your house sparrow doesn't look as plump as the one's I shot the other day..

Nice shots...that first bird looks surprised to see you...and the goldfinch is exotic to me. Are the neighbors beginning to talk, I mean with you in the shed so much...steve
