I was looking for updated software on canon's site for my xti when I noticed the downloadable user manuel for DPP's (windows XP) file name is...
.
.
.
0dummy.pdf- (I'm serious, go look it up)

Either way...Just don't seem right, kinda a cheap shot don't ya think!

Kinda makes ya wonder just what the folks over at canon really do think of us!

Make this a poll ... I vote "Insult".

Funny! I think that what you saw is a dummy placeholder -- something that currently is not used, but is there for future web page changes. The programmers may have accidentally uncovered it by activating the link -- typically these things are commented out (meaning placed within a comment) until needed.

You're stretching here... If you look right above it, you'll see a properly named version uploaded the very next day. The "dummy" one was probably just a test.

Allright guys, I found it humerous!

Kinda like...Hey you moron neumanns, you need help with DPP...It's right here you dummy!

Maybe it's just there attempt and down home friendly service. Because if I were to ask help finding something at home the likley reply would be "It's under the sink you idot"

and the insult comment...Oh never mind, Guess it's just my somtimes warped sense of humor.

Yes I realize it was intended as neither an insult or humor...Maybe that's why I found it funny!

That coupled with the fact there is a help tutorial titled "dummy" as in for idiots only (I am only inserting myself in that catagory, no one else)
