View Full Version : A70....Lines on the LCD Monitor

I have noticed sometimes when I push the shutter button down on my A70 that lines appear on the LCD Monitor.
I have asked my local camera store about it and they have said that it could be due to low light and that there didn't appear to be anything wrong with the camera.
Has any body else had this problem?

I too occasionally get these vertical lines on my ixus400, but they don't come through onto the final image, and even while on teh camera in review mode, there is no trace of the line... i just accept is as some quirk and get on with it.

yeah, I had these lines as well, but as said in the above posts it does not show up on the final picture. BUT using the video function on my A-70, I have occasionally vertical lines when shooting videos. Typically this have been shots aginst a bright object, or the sun is almost in the background (no, not directly against the sun, but in the general direction!)
A polarizing filter have had the effect to minimize this lines.
