For me most of my bookings are January-June.

This year I have started to earlier than I have ever before. I got my first booking this month for 2008.

I always get an onslaught around August to October. Usually have almost NOTHING before then. It's weird.

Most of my bookings happen 4-6 month in advance, with the most popular dates being in July and August (as I suspect is the case with most of the northern hemisphere). People around here book really late, I've booked with only a few days notice before. I expect the majority of my bookings in February to April.

Mine come in runs at random dates throughout the year. After wedding shows I get quite a few, even though I don't go to them or advertise there.

Usually comes in two waves: steady August through about November, then insanity in January.

I haven't seen a set trend yet but the rumor is that most engagements happen around Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Valentines Day.

I can tell you that my average enquiry is 8.3 months before their wedding date, with a maximum of 2.1 years and a minimum of 4 days :)

I keep exact statistics on all kinds of this data, helps to organise my marketing and budgets for the year.
