Is there a macro lens for a Canon S1IS

there are no lenses for the p&s cameras, but rather converters...whether it be for the wide angle, telephoto or macro. There are a couple macro converters - canon makes the 500d at 58mm (obviously this will need our freinds from lensmateonline.com) and for the SLR folks, larger sizes. Raynox makes a couple as well. These are natively 37mm and you can get a 52 -->37mm step down ring (again lensmateonline.com rises to the occassion) or it comes with an adapter which can be fitted on the barrel. There may be more macro converters out there, but I am unaware. I have the raynox and I am happy with them. I have heard good reports about the 500d as well.
