Question for anyone with B&H catalogue's

Hey guys, just a quick one.

How long did it take to receive your copy? I am asking this because I ordered the catalogue and source books over a month ago and yet to have them in my possession. I sent them an e-mail Monday and have not heard from them yet...................

Any ideas on what might be the holdup or problem? thanks.

B&H has different catalogs and sourcebooks. I get one at one time of the year, and then one or two others at a different time.

If I had to make a guess, I would guess that they do not continually mail that stuff out, and they only do it once or twice a year. Once you've dropped a couple of grand, you will be on their holiday greeting card list also.

I ordered the Catalogue, Lighting and Digital sourcebooks. Need to make a darkroom so I think I will be spending a few grand quickly................

Got my B&H catalogs in about two weeks. Might have just luckily ordered right before their previously scheduled mailing though.

It took just a couple of weeks for my to receive mine after requesting. They even doubled up my digital cameral one. These things are HUGE :shock:

They sure are! When I signed up I figured I'd get a mailer on current sales, mabye some manufacturer flyers and the like. Uh nope! These things would give the discontinued Sears Roebuck Catalog a nudge off the pedestal :).

Thats why I want one so bad, I hear they are great...................I guess ill e-mail them till I get a response...........that or I may even call.

The first time I requested B&H's Digital Sourcebook, they never sent it. A few months later I signed up again and received it. Then, I requested the Professional Lighting Sourcebook and they proceeded to send me 6 copies over the next two months! :shock: Each book is huge! It must have cost them a pretty penny to mail each one.

It took B&H about 3 months to send it to me in South Africa. I couldnt believe that they send this size package for free. I had ordered 4 catalogues. I was very impressed. I then ordered a 1 GB Extreme Cf card (because i was Excited) and unfortuneately received an Ultra 256MB in the mail instead.......... eventually it was sorted out! I'm not sure how quickly i will use them again ? Does anyone find Fedex to be far superior to UPS ? Seems like they are from the times i have imported things from Hong Kong

Might take a little longer with mailing to Canada. I just received my latest last week. I get one every 3-4 months or so.
