Nicely posed grasshopper - pretty happy with this shot.

A young grasshopper which was not very friendly and easy to get a shot of. Couple that to a light breeze, and me not doing my best job of having steady hands, and it's slightly soft ;-)

#1 is brilliant! What a superb colour for it to be photographed on.

#2 is a great shot too - you must remember though with these young ones, they have been told not to get close to strangers LOL. Love their cheeky faces.

Thanks guys :) I actually toned back the magentas in both images as they were overpowering, due to Canons inability to properly control reds and magentas accurately (at least from my experience).

PS At a local Internet cafe at the moment and the PC and keyboard setup that Im using doesnt allow me to do either apostrophes or slashes (just diverts to the firefox find tool), which is really annoying.

Beautiful shots.
The second shot looks like he's really watching you closely, almost stalking you.

Thanks guys! Yeah, the baby grasshopper in #2 was very wary of me, hence the hiding bit after I took this shot. The larger ones are wary, but more tolerant. #2 does look rather cute and cheeky doesn't it?
