Traveling?

So, who's brave enough to travel this Thanksgiving or Christmas?

We're staying put for Thanksgiving. We'll "travel" the 15 minutes to my brother-in-law's house.

For Christmas, we've decided that we're going on a trip, but it's not going to involve an airport. The wife and I both have two weeks off around the holidays, so we'll be driving wherever we go.

So, how 'bout it? Hittin' the "friendly skies" or playing it safe?

Tonight, flying Milwaukee to Los Angeles for the holidays with family. Doing the same on Christmas morning.

Traveling on the busiest day of the year is pretty much a non-event for me. I spent a few years traveling for a living so I have the airport routine all set. ;)

I haven't flown since the mid 80's. Not because I have a problem with it. I just haven't needed to. This holiday season will probably be no different. I'm just staying home.

My cousin is flying from Canada to visit us for christmas though - I don't know how busy the airports will be...
