Can anyone recommend a wireless shutter release for the 1D Mark III ?

There's PocketWizards for the ultimate in versatility. B&H also stocks this (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/445043-REG/Dot_Line_RS_RT04_C3_Wireless_RF_Remote_Release.htm l), which works OK. Haven't given it a destruction test for durability yet, but it seems to function fine.

Obviously not remotely close to the pocket wizards for build and reliability etc etc, but depends on what you want to use them for?
