The idea is great. The light is very poor.
The composition is a bit empty in the foreground. The gorgeous mountain lacks detail. I adjusted to my taste as follows:

The sky is nice, but the foreground looks a bit dark i think.

Not any usefull info on how you could overcome it. I am a beginner to...

You will kick yourself when you see how simple this was

1: Use the magic wand to select the grass. Because it is dark, it selectes very easily -- then immediately switched the selected area to the "inverse", namely the sky and the mountain and the clouds
2: Set the Black and White pointer to the edges of the histogram and watch these beautiful colors emerge.
3: Switch the selected sky (Select Inverse) back to grass and repeat Step 2. You may want to adjust the center histogram "to taste"
4: At this stage the grass low in color, so just increase the color saturation
5: Cropp the left and the bottom a bit to taste.

PS:
I must admit that I was astonished at the beauty of the scene. For the first time ( and with a slightly enlarged image), I could see the detail in the mountains.

PPS:
About two years ago I read a WONDERFUL book which spends some time in Romania. The book is entitled, Between the Woods and the Water and the author is Patrick Leigh Fermor. Thanks to the web I found some photos that relate to the story at http://www.enzia.com/Pages/plf2.html
