gemstar,

Good photograph of a spider's web. Good depth of field, good lighting, and good sharpness.

Like Steven, I had trouble opening your image file. I had to "right click" on the empty image box and issue the Open File command. I wonder if you may have an error in your image setup. Maybe the [/img] is missing at the end of the image URL?

Great shot ...

I especially like the high contrast between the dark and light areas of the photo.

Best regards,
Andy

Nice shot. I'd have been tempted to stomp on the plant making the white spot at 4 o'clock from center!

If that's the spider in the center, I'd like to see it better, too.

Thank you for all your positive comments. As far as the white blur at 4 o'clock I'm not sure how to get clone it out without messing up the web, but I agree it would be nice to get rid of it. Sorry no 'icky' spider!
Any suggestions?
I'm not sure why, but sometimes the picture is there ok and others it seems to go to a place where no one knows it's name
Again, any suggestions. I'll try to repost the URL and see if that makes a difference.

I like it--I've been trying to get a decent shot of a web on our clothes line and haven't hit on the right shot.

I feel a twinge of guilt as I remember the first day of photography class in college [back when the earth cooled]--the instructor snarled "...and the first one of you who turns in a photo of a spider web gets an automatic F in the class." He thought it was overdone and trite. But, hey, anything worth doing is worth over-doing, right? :D

Thx Ajax I appreciate the kind words and I agree with you, anything doing right is definately worth overdoing
