With the lack of color i keep seeing the concrete as real old wood. I love the pattern in 1, i would be obsessed with too.

thanks glad you like it :)...it's about a 5 min walk from my place in Trieste. It is a public housing complex that's home to a couple of thousand people.

Very good shots, I really like the second one. I agree with funkybuddha, it woud be cool to have some freestyle skaters, bmx'ers and so on in there for a shoot. Would make some great group/individual shots for everyone involved. Search arround, you just might be able to get some of those kind of people interested in modelling or doing stunts in return for prints of some of the shots

the wooden panels on the ceiling of the first shot are really catching along with the poles holding things up

the graffiti seems to be embedded on them.... almost look like totem poles in ways

ssidiv3r thanks for the comments and I like your ideas.....marie, it's all concrete and plaster, the processing has made it look like timber and yes the complex has many corridoors, panels and stairs. Also interesting you should say totem poles as the effect of the processing I did in #2 reminded me of tattoos....thanks Tee Why, that was my intention :).
