The board's description is as follows:
About working as pro, thinking like a pro and shooting like a pro. Ask questions and share words about shooting professionally, earning money, challenges of digital revolution and getting the job done and billed. Or just lurk 24/7.

I don't think it will be restricted to pros only, but the subject matter will be tightly restricted to topics that relate to professional photography. The intent is to let the rest of the forum move along as it always has, but to give the people who earn their living (or a portion of it) with photography a place to go to discuss their profession and issues related to it.

Until we get the flavor just right, there will probably be a lot of threads move elsewhere in the forum.

This sounds like a very good idea. I read Jims(RMF Sports) post earlier about wanting to found this area, and I think we can learn a lot from these guys, and I for one appreciate them taking the time to post here.
