1) Ebay
2) Get to know people at the stores near you, find out when the trucks are coming in.
3) Unless you get lucky, you more than likely will need to pay more via extra effort or loon$.

My recommendation is to be willing to drive, and call everywhere....2 weeks ago would've been easier, but now we're in the official season, so everyone is going to be out there.

We called about 5-10 stores before we found ours. The store we ended up going to is about 80 miles from our house. (Of course then we found out we had been invited to some BestBuy special event and could've gotten one there, 2 miles from our house). But its just the thing you've got to do...call call call...

If you guys have Targets, call them.

I dont think we have Target :C
Honestly I've called 8 different stores but none of them have any in stock. I've run out of stores to call. I wish there was one store at least that had it in stock, cuz it's only about 3 km for my house (all the electronic stores)
If you have any other stores that could possibly sell Wii please tell me.

P.S. Called Sears and EB Games now too...

Funny, it took me over 6 months to get mine. . .and I didn't even find it. One of my friend's cousin found them and got it for me from Los Angeles. If you really want one, you need to ask everyone you know to keep a look out because Nintendo is still slow with production. That's the only reason Sony is starting to sell some PS3s, well of course, the $100 price drop did help.

Not sure where in ON you are, but I know that in the rural areas they are often available. Our cottage is in Muskoka and we bought ours at Zellers in the Huntsville mall. They often have them in stock so I'd give them a call.

Nintendo said they have ramped up production. Shows how popular these things are. In 6 months they beat 18 months of Xbox360 sales, and outside Japan the PS3 is barely a blip on the radar.

Do you have Costco in Canada? Got mine from the local Costco on release day last year, hours after everywhere else had sold out. Its a great systems, my kids still love it and it gets plenty of use.

yeah I have costco I'm gonna go there tomorrow and hopefully they will have one. I asked all my friends and only one has it and bought it from Wal-mart which is unfortunately always sold out. And I live in Kingston so if anyone knows any stores around here please tell me some.
Thanks for your replies I hope i get one ASAP i've been dying for one lol

EB GamesI got one two weeks ago from one of there sister stores, GameStop, we have both here. At all the local game stores they have been getting shipments weekly at minimum, but they are never the same day or time, at least that's what they told me. I just called the closest one daily between noon and 3:00, asked if they got any in that day, when they did I went and picked it up. Normal price $250 USD. I would recommend doing that.

I got mine a couple months ago, Wal Mart had 4 in stock at the time.

Good luck, they are hard to come by. I wasnt even looking for one. Just saw they had some and decided to get one.

Exactly what happened to me. I hadn't even really thought of getting one, but there they were...a new shipment into wally world. I blurted out "I'll take one!"

Kinda like a couple hours ago with the Xbox 360 Halo 3 Edition.

My friend works at an EB Games/GameStop, he said that they aren't even alerted when the Wiis come into shipment. They either arrive with morning shipments or they don't, they aren't even told how many will be shipped. They have customers calling every day.

May I ask why you can't buy from eBay?

I can't get it from ebay cuz my parents dont want me to... but I got it for EB games! They told me yesterday that "Your best bet is to come tomorrow morning, early morning" so I get my mom to go 30min after they open, they only had 20 but I got it!! Now i got WiiPlay with extra remote but no nunchuk :C and WiiSports. I'm thinking of getting Bleach Shattered Blade and Mario Party 8. I heard Super Mario Galaxy was good but you cant play 2 players. Omg I'm so excited it got it!! w00t EB GAMES!!
I didn't get an extra remote jacket with the WiiPlay remote so i'm gonna order one.
Thanks for your help guys!

Nintendo will give you the jackets. Give 'em a call.

I know about breaking things..my uncle was playing tennis with me, and his back swing took out part of our 130 year old chandelier.
