very interesting, just wondering, how did you achieve it?
I personally like the effect, but its the context in which it will be used that will make the biggest impact, i think. I'm trying to say it will work in certain circumstances, i think. :roll:

Did it in Photoshop...
1. brought in the image ad converted it to a layer
2. deleted distracting background areas
3. added a text layer and a blank off white layer (as background)
4. copied the text layer as a selection
5. added the text layer selection to the image layer as a mask
6. adjusted text layer fill opacity to get desired effect
That's it more or less.

I think it's just great!
I'd love to see a larger version so I could read the text to see whether it has any meaning or is just a repetition.
