the river Liffey runs through the centre of the city (Dublin)
these are some of the buildings running along the Quays on either side of the river

I was trying to avoid that yesterday when taking it as I took a shot of the same in the past month and got it slanted

Little slante, so you've made the boat worked harder going up river. :lol: Over all a nice shot and I love all the colors.

Marie, that is one sharp photo, which lens is that? Have to agree with Sandy here, it seems to be a bit tilted but not overwhelmingly so.

I got it when I was in London in early August in a place where I got my G2 camera and other bits and pieces over the years (still have the G2) x.....
was looking out for another lens and the man had not got it in stock at the time.
he had a 17 -40 mm ....
I was trying to think straight about should I :confused:
took the 17-40mm but brought it back and he very kindly changed it
it was a 'had to make up mind' time for me as I was travelling on to Sicily
