Bethlehem Journey

The Opryland Hotel & Convention Center (Nashville, TN) dresses the entire place up for Christmas each year. Part of the set up is a lifesized outdoor nativity display which is lit at night. The photo below is of Mary & Joseph making their way to Bethlehem. The subject lighting was poor consisting of two (extremely bright) par cans. In this case the bright lighting worked out since exposing for the subject helped distracting modern elements in the background to fade into the darkness. I only wish the light had shone on Joseph's staff also, but it did not catch any of the par can's light.
