Product-style... does this work for you?

I posted these in the Photo Sharing section, but I thought I would post them here to get a more in depth criticism. Do these two photos work for you? What do you think could be improved?

I love #2, I just have two suggestions:
1.Take the plastic seal off from top of the bottle
2.Turn the bottle so the entire Absolut Citron name is visible.

otherwise looks perfect to me.

You might want to back off on the back light.
The outline of the bottle should be visible.

very pleasing soft shadow in the first. I agree, watch the outline, especially in the second shot.

The frame cuts the cap on #2 right through the centerline. Why does it have cut through the cap at all?

Going out of focus on the product name (#2) doesn't sell with me.

I like #1 better, but is there some way to avoid the appearance of being empty?

The fuzzy dark shadow spot behind the bottle ought to be fixed. And I think that the shadow that goes off to the right ought not show the curvature of the sweep. Move it further from the sweep and knock out some of the shadow on the right.
