Haven't posted anything in a while so here goes. This was taken last year in Australia's beautiful Wilsons Promontory National Park in Victoria.

I gave a talk on my travels down under on Wednesday night to my local RSPB group which gave me a good reason to trawl through my collection from last year. I'd forgotten about a series of shots I'd taken during an hour spent in the company of this fine looking bird early one morning.

Fantastic, thank you for sharing this picture. I am currently watching a little Egret but need a decent opportunity to get the shot I am looking for.
