not recommend refurbished cameras. SD 800 is the great one.

I love the wide angle of the SD800 IS, cause I don't come close to it with my 30d stuff. I love the small size and rounded corners and edges. Picture quality is ok considering size restrictions, but A series are better. Refurbished? You are on your own there.

Sounds great Tumak, thanks for the info! I think I'll definetly stay away from the refurbished ones.
The wide-angle sounds perfect for macro underwater shots!
And do you mean that you don't come close to the wide angle you get with the SD800 when using your Canon EOS 30D SLR? Really? Or do you mean the other way around?
Thanks!
Oh, sorry, the widest I have for my 30D is a 28mm which is about 45mm equivalent. I don't need it all that often. Haven't decided which super wide to get yet, but I don't want to invest a lot as I don't take a lot of scenics, and I am getting ready to experiment with the Panoramic stitching method.
