I was just having a quick look at some shots I took at my first British Superbike event with a camera, back in July at Oulton Park.
Here are two favourites, what do you think?

Very nice Ant. It's the first one I like best.

A couple of really nice shots.
I think the first one would look better if you had used a slightly slower shutter speed to blur the backgroung even more.

Yeah I agree, first time shooting bikes and second time with mk11n, I couldn't get over the speed of them:D

Very nice. I love it when they lean . . . .

Nice shots Ant but you can easily get away with 1/250th to 1/400th when shooting Superbikes as they accelerate rather briskly ;)
One of mine from BSB race day at Croft. I was stretching over a fence and surrounded by sweaty bikers so conditions weren't perfect :)
This was also a rare outing for the 100-400L...

good shots. Would you mind if i suggest tighter crops? With just the one bike, you might find them more dynamic if some of the bits that bleed away tension were removed.

And since i'm butting in, breaking the frame in your first photo would emphasize the drama of the wheelie. I think i'm looking for more emotion in the shots, something the photographer brings to the work. Okay, i'll butt out now
