All,
I am about to purchase a Canon EOS 1D Mark II form B&H. Is the MACK 3 year extended warranty something I should consider? Mark II owners, did you purchase the one. Please let me know.
Thanks
Jim

Yes. I bought the Mack Warranty when I bought the Mark II. $135 for 3 extra years of protection on $4500 is well worth it.

While we're on Mack subject...
I'm moving and packed away the paper works. One of my camera started to act up and I need to send it in to Mack. Do I need to find the warranty paper or can I just contact them? Do any of you have the contact info? This is the first time I have to send something in for service....
Thanks in advance for your time and help.
Regards,
Alan

I always get the extended warranty for expensive camer equipment ... well worth the additional investment.
For Alan: Mack Warranty phone #'s: in NJ (973) 467-2291 or outside NJ (800) 252-MACK
My card says it must be presented for service but I don't know if they'll look up your proof of ownership but calling can't hurt.
Their site will email the registration from a previously registered item if you know the reg #. Hopefully you copied that down somewhere.
