I've been shooting digital for a long time now, but i was really lacking in the Post Processing Dept....

Spent few hours fiddling with Adobe CS3 last night...

Please critique the results..

Also, any general tips & advice from experts will be highly appreciated:)

After Processing

Changes made: brightened & sharpened eyes of both persons, saturated & sharpened lips of the lady, brightened her teeth also, added brightness & contrast, saturated colours, levels & curves adjustments, applied dehaze filter and finally USM on whole image...

:eek:phew..

great, a TINY but much on the contrast IMO but still great for the first, most people go WAY over board with filters and such on their first try in a while. good job. if you REALY wanted to get into it you might wana do a lens blur on the bg to make the people stand out a little more. as it is now the bg is somewhat distracting

thanks for your input dan! I'll surely keep this in mind for future.:)

I'm planning to get this printed and framed, now will it look better on glossy or matt paper?

I think that this pic would look better on glossy as its a nice vibrant picture.. thats my personal opinion :)
