What's the scoop: Canon 70-300 DO IS USM lens

I have my eye on the new DO lens. The reviews are mostly great, allowing a tendency to flare. I enjoy street, night, nature, and travel photography.

I'd love to get some feedback from others who have this lens. I'll be using it with a Digital Rebel. I'm attracted to the size and weight of the lens.

I don't have the lens ... so I can only suggest you to do a forum search. I remember that there are some users (e.g. Jesper and Aylwin)who have bought the lens and voiced their findings.

Also,. there is a equipment review "Sticky" at the top of this page.. we don't have a lot of revioews yet.. but this lens is one of the ones we do have.
