1st time with Amazon.com...

Well I just recently purchased a 580EX II from them and I was wondering when they say the shipping estimate is on the 28th. Does that mean it will be sent that day or will it be arriving that day? I would like to know so I can either have someone be here to sign for the package or if anything happens I can be home to pick it up. Thanks for the help guys!

Everything I have purchased from Amazon has arrived before the estimated delivery date. Usually several days early.

That would be the estimated arrival date. But like Just Be said it may be earlier. I've never had anything arrive after that date. Usually the packages don't need signed for, they just leave them by the door. If you don't trust your neighbors, you better be home.

When it ships you should get an email with a tracking number. UPS and Fedex keep their system updated, at least daily. USPS sucks, there's never seems to be right.
