I wasn't able to go too far from home yesterday so I decided to set up the blind near the feeders. There weren't any exotic species around just the usual suspects. Here are some sample shots from yesterday, taken over about 45 mins.

Great variety of birds Dan...nice to see Hairy's & a Downy together. Do you know anything about banding of Nuthatches in PEI? I've not seen one thats banded before.

We had a banding station here at the house for two winters. I imagine that is one of the Rbnut's that got banded then. We were doing winter finches but also banded some other species that came to the nets.

Those are really great shots, Dan. I love the look of the second one.
What kind of bird is #4. He's got the Donald Trump look to his hair do. :)

Your monitor must be calibrated a little better now. These photos don't appear to be quite so dark.

Nice series Dan. I am particularly partial to the Red-breasted Nuthatch, a bird I have yet to photograph (as my wife keeps reminding me; it's one of her favorites!)

Nice job! I really like the Hairy Woodpecker shots and the RB Nuthatch. Really neat to see a band on its leg. Never seen a banded one.
