Apart from Archos Gmini 220, there is another digital wallet using 1.8" harddisk for photo storage. A Taiwan product "Transcend Photobank" is just released with 20 or 40GB HD. No detailed performance test result at this moment.

Looks very nice!

If that's 11,200 NT $, that should be about 300 US$ (unless I'm mistaken on the exchange rate).

That sounds like a great price for a 40 MB wallet with high-res colour LCD screen.

But be aware that it only says 'CF type I' in the product description.
(That's about all I could read  ). So no microdrives with this one.

Best regards,
Andy

In this press release it says CF type I or II ... and it has the correct photo!

This does look very interesting..

Tell me about 1.8" hard drives?
Is this the same as the ones in PCMCIA cards? (not MDs)

Is this what is in I-pods?

You're right. In the product description it says 'CF Type I, MicroDrive' ... obviously microdrive standing for CF type II...

I must read more throughly

Best regards,
Andy
