I took some shots a bit ago but never got around to trying to post them...I get lost in this phase at times. so here we go......:rolleyes:....wow 30 min later and still no luck...lol.:o

i really do apologize....what do you guys use to scale your photos down to 800 x 800?

I use a freeware program called "easythumnails". just google it and downlowd it. real easy to use

Reduce the JPEG quality and that should help you. What app are you using?

I am using Canon Professional program to process pics. I do not have an external photo editor yet. I spent the money on the equipment.

Under "Quality setting" then "Image quality" and I would set it to 5 and that should bring down the image size.

I use paint if I want to just resize it.
you can not just SAVE the item in the same name. If you resize it to 20% you'll have to "save as" and rename it. otherwise the file saize will not change. I usally add a "Small" after the original file name.

ok....whew...I finally got it. I lowered image to 3, dpi to 400 and pix to 600 x 400 i think. Sorry this is not sports, it will be. i just did not want to start another thread.
I must say...this pic is ugly. It does not look like this. Very harsh resolution.
