I am not sure how many remember a thread from a long time ago (2006) where mjgravina (Mario) wanted to buy a small country. We all laughed, and cried together. It was magical and wonderful. (The after party, not the thought, which did and still sounds ridiculous).

Well, turns out good Ole Mario pulled it off !!!...

I am sure he is starting to look for robe colors, and good King Names. I suggested Canon the First, but he refuses to wear a red ring around his crown.

Any ideas?....

Just wanted to share the good news.

I am not sure that a 1 house town in Texas qualifies as a small country.

Yeah, there is that issue of converting a small town ( a town, nontheless) into a country. Specially where he can reign as a monarch, and in american soil. He's pulled crazier rabbits out of his hat, who knows about this one... :)

Well, we have Daley here in Chicago. He is pretty much king and Chicago has a few more houses as well. ;):)

You can certainly buy a small island, I think sealand is still for sale, and you can always make your own town. I have a couple hundred acres of land in an unincorporated part of Maine...not my own country but could be my own town.
