Printing Pictures Sizing Question

Ok, so I'm creating a Christmas Card for my family. If we are going to print them out on say 4x8 Card for example what size should I save the image down to?

What DPI should I make the image? Leave it at 72?

At least 800 x 1600 pixels, but if its bigger than that, leave it as is. The DPI is meaningless at this stage.

Ask whoever will be printing them. If you're printing them yourself use full res. Also have a look at my printing FAQ for info on dpi/ppi, link in my sig.
