...when using flash. Is that normal? I use rechargeable batteries. One pair i have is 1800mAh and the others are 2350mAh.I tried both of these and the speed does not reduce.I believed that the more mAh the faster the camera will be?
Anny suggestions?

Yes, it's normal. mAH doesn't make the flash recharge faster; it just lets the camera run longer on a set. There's a limit to how fast the capacitor which fuels the flash can be recharged.

That is the reason why people will spend a few hundred dollars on a good flash for their slr.
Power, and recycle/recharge time. Point and shoots will never have fast recycle times, higher end ones (S-series and G-series will probably recycle faster) my S3IS recycles in a few seconds
