Need some help here.

Did and engagement shoot this past Saturday. The shots are on two disks. I imported the first and made all the corrections.

Now I want to import the second set of shots into the same folder (I can do this) However when I do all the photos I just corrected will leave the que area at the bottom. Now after correcting disk 2, I want to make a slide show that includes all the images from both disks. But the only images that it will grab will be the ones from the second disk (The ones in que)

How is the easiest way to make the slide show and include all images? I guess I could add all the images from disk one to the quick collection then do the same with the second set then open quick collection and make the slide show from there. Am I on the right track LOL I am not even sure I have made enough sense for you to help.
Thanks
Greg

When you import images into LR you are not viewing that folder of images, but rather a "library" called "Previous Import". To view all of the images in the folder simply navigate to that folder in the Library module.

As previously stated, your Lightroom setup is defaulting to Previous import which is the reason you're not seeing all the files in Grid view.

Look in the left Panel at Library, and click the right-pointing arrow to expand the Library ...you will now be able to view all the folders in the catalog, or create a Quick Collection.
If all the images are in one or two folders, click the Folders arrow to expand it and navigate to those folders; you will now see all the images you want.

Thanks got it! Easier than I thought LOL Had never really paid much attention to that folder.

One more question quickly. LR used to open up automatically when I plug a disk into my reader and prompt me asking where to store the images etc. For some reason it no longer does this. I have looked but can't find where to turn this back on.

I'm guessing you somehow turned off Adobe Photo Downloader. Look in your taskbar and you should see a Photo Downloader icon. Right-click on it and select Enable.
