Hey Everyone, hope your all well.

I have a Question Regarding Ring Flash.
Basically, would it work well in Cub (Night Clubs) especially with a Fisheye?
I just have this image in y head that i could get some stunning images, but would the Flash be up to it as i dont know much about ring flash?

Hope anyone can answer.

Cheers.

I don't know a huge amount about ring flash in all honesty, but I would think you would likely get problems using with a fisheye due to the limited angle of light emitted by the flash.

I can't say I've ever used a ring flash and a fisheye, but I think the wideangle would create problems.

If you had a bigger ringflash like the ones used for fashion, it would work -- just not the Canon ringflash.

Are you talking about a 15mm fisheye? If so then a large, very expensive fashion, ring light may cover it with the right reflector. If you're talking a 180 degree 8mm fisheye then I doubt there's a ring light that will have the coverage - could create interesting effects in a night club though. don't bother with a small macro light, really won't have the power for what you're suggesting, especially with a fisheye.

Well the kind of thing i was thinking is a nice flash for the subjects face, then also the nice ring of light in there eyes, but with great funky colours from the light in the night club as it would be on a long exposure.
Thanks everyone.
