C+C if you would. I'm still not sure about this shot. I think the DOF could be better IMO.

FWIW, I like it... think it's a good choice to have the focus deeper in the picture. Strong diagonal elements. Not sure, but if you're after ideas to explore to make it better, I'd be curious about something less than a total silhouette - just a touch of detail in the shadows without changing the overall balance. Might also avoid having so much all-white area of sky - it's a little harsh and distracting. - Cheers, Tony

I agree with the composition. It's a more dynamic view of a typically static subject. Opposing diagonals usually represent tension, but the color, DoF and subject matter balance the tension nicely. Btw, I like the edit better too.

I think its a good image. I am not crazy about the sepia tone.

Yeah - with the fresh perspective of another day, the first one looks better overall. Need to avoid the blown out bit without darkening everything else. Maybe a "curve" adjustment is the easiest way...
Really is a nice composition though :-).
