View Full Version : Made a reflector today!

I was bored and felt like screwing around! I'm still new to the whole concept so this is completely for fun and the learning experience.

I cut a 5x5 piece of cardboard and covered it with a sheet of tin foil. I had it held up with whatever was on my desk. But you get the idea. May not be the greatest pictures ever but I'm happy with the results.

It's a start, but more & bigger reflectors will help a lot. Look at the knife & Browning threads here:

you wouldn't have had that problem if you had taken it on the "lighted" side ;)

OK Alex, next time your fed up, try making the reflector 4x the size (and white rather than silver - as silver is not softening the shadows enough), and using a smaller f-stop to increase DOF a little ;-)
