Yesterday i saw a tv program that interview some famous artist in my country that likes the photography.

First, i saw him handling the camera with the famous canon white lens (I think it's 70-200mm L) mounted on it, then I tell my wife proudly who sit beside me, "looks, he also use canon..."

But then the scene in tv change, and my wife shouting at me.. no.. it's N****, and when I take a look clearly, yes, it's N**** word in the top of the camera (in the built-in flash where used to be)...

I really confused... how come, that white lens attached into that N**** gear???? and the scene in tv change again, and now I can see the shoulder strap, and it reads "N**** D2H" !!!!

what the...!!!! how come that happens??? is it N**** D2H can accomodate canon EF lens??? or there's any converter for that???

anybody has any explanation about this???

regards,

Loekito

There are white/gray Nikkor lenses out there, you know:

Or maybe he's just suffering from Canon envy and re-painted his gear a bit

Minolta too... or is it Pentax? Anyway, the Canons are more cream or beige colored. The others are more white or light gray.

Konica Minolta also has a number of white or cream coloured lenses, such as the AF D 70-200mm f/2.8 APO G SSM (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=300783&is=USA) . So if you see a white lens, it's not always a Canon....

Yep,all brands pretty much have white lenses
-not to mention the ultra cheapie zooms such as cosina-complete with red ring!!!

I must say that the two tone nikkors look absolutally awsome  8) .I am seriously envious of nikon users for that
Canon L's look impressive and and tough but the nikkor looks like a work of art in modern mechanical engineering

They just wish they could be like us! :)

LOL

I must say, Alot of famous photographers do use nikons... Alot do use Canons.... When my wife and I got married we did things alittle unorthodoxed... We lived in virgina and both of our families were from other states.. Only some of our friends were in VA so we weren't going to get married there... We were going to get married in Disney and had it all planned.. We had our Photographer set already... John Unrue, http://www.unruephoto.com, but my wife and I kept fighting and we put off the wedding.. GOOD thing we only had a deposit in our photographer... $1000 though... We finally said to hell with it... We got on a cruise ship alone for a week, called John up and got him a plane ticket from Orlando, Florida to the Caymen Islands and a hotel and we started on our wedding/honeymoon/vacation... We met up with John half way through our week and got married in the Grand Caymen Islands... He told me that most photograhers end up with Nikon or Canon because they start off young and don't know any better and just pick one. They build up a small collection of lenses and by the time they have about $10-15k in lenses and don't even know it, its too late to switch... Then they just trash talk the other brands!!! LOL

If you get a chance... Visit his site... He has really inspired me and he is the reason why I have gotten back into photography....

I see.

Can't hate him for it... I post my pictures here just to see what people say and it is funny to hear what people have to say.... Then you let a real professional look at it and you hear a tottaly different story.... I would be affraid to send my photos to him because I would hate to see what he would say.. I sat down with my uncle this past weekend and he went through about 300 5x7's and about 100 8x10's and he was pretty impressed... He was a photographer for the Clevleand Plain Dealer... I was kind of suprised that he actually took the time to critque them like he did... There were ALOT of pictures..
