Sweetpiedog(gorilla):
I like the pose of the gorilla and the overall feel of the picture. I think it would have been nice to have place the animal in the bottom right portion of the frame (kind of 1/3 rule) instead of centered. Would have acentuated the feeling of loneliness of the beast. I also looks a little overexposed and the dominant green seems a litte light to me (may be my monitor brightness though). Perhaps a little more darkness could make the image more dramatic.
These are just a few thoughts since you ask for comments, but it's a nice picture as it is.

Sweet ... dog ?
Super shot .. hey .. where's the fence ...you some kind of Tarzan?
Phil is right re composition,lighting, and color saturtion.
You can come e if you crop the bottom and left hand side a bit. As regards brightness, I see the brightness on the animal's left leg and wonder if it is sunshine. If it is, I would try to alter the brightness while adding a touch more yellow.
Regardless, you are closer to this guy than I would be.
Super shot.

Love the big guy's expression. Give him a hat and a cigar and he'd look just like a mobster.
The green looks a little off. Seems slightly overexposed. I have to say that I don't mind the centering in this case. I think it works.
Thanks for sharing.
