I shot just RAW .
Why is there a halo around the wing mirror and other places then? Dodging and burning I'm guessing?
PS: Love all your shots, a refreshing style!

Nope I don't do any dodging or burning . Could just be the light bouncing off the paint I have no idea . I can't really see anything on my side . Thanks though everyone . Just 3 strobes were used on that shot .

Did you use strobes while taking these shots?

What three strobes did you use to achieve the lighting? I'm still a noob when it comes with strobe lights. Can you link me to where I can purchase the same strobes you are using?

Man I'd love to see the image straight from the camera if you did no dodging and burning on that bad boy! Awesome!
How long does it take you to process something like that (looking at the filename 'hugeeditfinishesseriously')? Looks like a few hours work, I get bored after ten mins!

Nope I don't do any dodging or burning . Could just be the light bouncing off the paint I have no idea . I can't really see anything on my side . I see it & guess that it might be caused by too much USM sharpening. For that size web image, try 100 .6-.8 1 & see what happens.

Where can I learn more about lighting up cars using strobes?
Like where to position the strobes and what equipment to use? Does Strobist have any articles?

Wow very cool .. Just leave my sig on it : ) . Id like to see that on the wall . I was always a fan of that program for small presents for gfs : p
Strobes were just Canon flashes . Also I never do USM .. I normlly just sharpen from RAW . Theres not much need to sharpen anything on the 16 35 L .

From all your posts on this thread you give the idea that it came it out of the camera like that?
However the filename (hugeeditfinishesseriously) gives it away a bit! I really want to see the original as you have to start off with a good shot first.
