NEWBY HELP PLEASE,

I just received my EOS 1D Mark II camera and the JPG Files and RAW Files from it look very unpleasant compared to the JPG Files and RAW Files from my EOS 10D. Any suggested settings that will make the Mark II RAW Files and JPG Files look like the 10D RAW Files and JPG Files would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Could you possibly be a little more specific as to what's wrong with the images? Also, can you possibly tell us what the RAW/JPG settings are that you used when the results were so bad?

Define unpleasant.

The first thing that I did when I got mine was read the manual. It may be small in size but does contain alot of helpful information.

I shot on RAW and JPG for a short while and now I do nothing but RAW.

Horrors!

The last thing I would want from my MkII would be for the images to look more like those I get from the 10D!

Please post an example and explain what it is that seems to be the shortcoming?
