another nice one; you have a great eye. was this hand held? just to nitpick: it would be more dramatic if the train was closer to the front of the frame, and the blurry people were completely in the frame. it also looks a tad over-sharpened on my screen.

It was shot resting on a rail and was one shot. It had basic RAW shapening??
If I did this over again, I would use a JOBY tripod and take a longer exposure to let the train have a longer blur.

it might have just been my monitor at work. on my home it looks better
i've been wanting one of those joby's. but i would one one for the p/s and one for the slr. do you have one? is it as useful as it looks?

Very nice photo. All it has is sharpening? No tone adjustments?
A while ago I was debating whether to get the Joby or the Ultrapod II and I decided on the Ultrapod. There are a few situations where the Joby might be better but the Ultrapod, for me, has the best of both worlds, a stiff legged table tripod and an attached velcro strap for odd places.
