Love these Brian. I have tried these myself but havent managed anything like this yet. Is that a window and a bottle of something refracted in the drops? Whatever it is it makes a very attractive background.
Im with Alby, havent seen hardly any spider webs around here either.

Clever stuff but in this case I ind the reflections somewhat distracting from the beauty of the subject.

Thanks for the comments everyone :)
The spiders web was between the rungs of a ladder against the back wall of my garage- thats a garage window with a plastic bottle (possibly vanish) that I put there to add some BG colour.

Great shots of the drops Brian, although I would have been tempted to crop out the pink in the right hand corner of #2.
I thought the reflection looked like a toilet cystern with a pink bottle of toilet duck lol (but I do like the pink background lol)

Thanks again for the comments :)
Linda - someone on another forum thought the background was a fireplace mantlepiece with a christmas stocking hanging up :)

This could be a competition  - although goodness knows how anyone could tell that's a bottle of "Vanish"!
Excellent shots BTW!

Another nice series Brian, do you have shots of the raindrops au natural? Would be curious to compare them to the stacked shots :) I really like rain drops on spiders webs, they are just beautiful.

Thanks Dave :)
As it turns out #2 is not stacked.
With the others especially at higher mags I some of the drops were less well focused or the refraction was less well focused or both. If you've done shots of drops in spiders web blowing about with the slightest wind, you'll know how hard it is to get good focus on all of them at the same time.
